About the role  

This role is responsible for managing HammondCare treasury function, to ensure that all current and projected operational cash requirements can be met whilst optimising the returns that can be made on any excess funds that have been suitably invested.

This role is a permanent fulltime role based at St Leonards with working from home options.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Ensuring HammondCare optimises its use of funds in Cash accounts, Term Deposits and Managed funds
  • Managing the drawdown of loans as well as the repayment of loans in line with the agreed facilities with the banks
  • Managing day to day relationships with Banks and other financial institutions
  • Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cash flow monitoring and forecasting including the investment portfolios
  • Preparing bank covenant reporting, required by banks
  • Preparing Monthly Treasury reports for the Head of FP&A, Financial Controller, CFO, Executive, Finance Committee and Board including performance of investments as well as compliance to the Reserves, investment, and Liquidity Policy.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting –Prepare formal Cash flow forecasts as part of the planning cycle
  • Journals and reconciliations pertaining to the Treasury function
  • Prepare and lodge monthly BAS

 About You  

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar corporate role
  • Strong stakeholder management approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong administrative and computer skills, exposure to SUN and Epicor systems advantageous
  • Exposure to the Aged Care Sector advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Empathy and patience
