About the role  

The Integrations and BI Developer is a critical role within the IT function.  This role focuses on all data collected in our business systems, methods of collection, data warehouse design and management, reporting and providing business teams the information from our business systems to assist with decision making.

This is permanent full-time position based at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Integration Development – Designing and implementing integration solutions using various technologies including APIs, middleware and ETL tools
  • System Analysis – Analysing business requirement and translate them into technical specifications for system integration
  • Building and maintaining end-to-end ETL processes across multiple platforms/data sources
  • Extracting data from multiple systems and sources (on-prem and cloud systems), transform and analyse to form business insights
  • Creating and maintaining SQL scripts and stored procedures to assist in the ETL pipeline and manage data warehouse
  • Assisting systems administrators (Application Management Team) with information required for application support, data migration, data interrogation, upgrades and configuration changes
  • Developing methodologies, processes and technologies that transform raw data into meaningful and useful information to provide historical, current and predictive views of business operations.
  • Guiding, developing and maintaining business and technology teams with business systems integration needs

About You  

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
  • BSc/BA in Information or Computing Science
  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in a similar position in an information systems discipline
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience of integration tools and technologies such as middleware, API management, and ETL processes
  • Strong experience in MS SQL Server stack – particularly SSIS, SSRS
  • Strong experience in managing data warehouses
  • Knowledge of business systems and databases including development and implementation of data / BI strategies
  • Desirable  PowerBI
  • Experience in realising business and customer value through complex CRM and ERP systems
  • Exposure to big-data platforms and AI is desirable
  • Business Analysis skills such as running user eliciting requirements, mapping business process, and preparing project documentation
  • Knowledge of project management methodology and the ability to work within a project delivery schedule
  • A passion for data and analysing information to aid business decision making and improve efficiency
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Well organised, proactive, collaborative, service-based work ethic
  • Preferably experience in the Aged Care and / or Health industry – with strong business awareness
