The opportunity
The Student Support Officer ensures the quality and compliant administration of national recognised training to its staff and delivers a positive student experience.
This is a permanent full-time position based at Hammondville with working from home flexibility.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting learners with non-academic support and well-being needs
- All administration duties in relation to Student enrolment; LLN (Language, Literacy & Numeracy); Student Management System & Leaner Management system
- Monitor progress of learners and support their education journey
- Responding to learner enquiries
- Work placement support
- Issuing certificates
- Data reporting
- RTO compliance activities
Who are you?
- Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
- A minimum of 2 year’s demonstrated experience in a busy administration role with a strong customer service focus
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent computer literacy
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Empathy and patience
- Experience working as a Student Support Officer and/or Work Placement Support function and understanding of RTO Standard desirable
